Las Indias is located near the town of Los Canarios, formerly known as Fuencaliente, at the foot of the Cumbre Nueva in the biggest wine growing area of La Palma. Los Canarios is a wealthy town with brightly painted houses with beautiful wooden balconies. The black, volcanic landscape contrasts with the wine gardens surrounded by pine trees. Las Indias - Geography:

The south of La Palma is the area of volcanos. An impressive area with the San Antonio and Teneguia volcanoes. In the Centro de Visitantes Volcan San Antonio you will find out all about the volcanos on La Palma. It is an excellent area to take a walk and enjoy the breathtaking views.

This area of La Palma has 4 beaches: La Zamora, Punta Larga, Echentive and Las Cabras.
