Valle Aridane - La Cumbrecita:

La Cumbrecita is a "window" in the side of the Caldera. From this point on the southern side of the Caldera there is a magnificent view into the Caldera. Looking down onto the steep wooded gorges and up to the rocky crags of the largest erosion crater in the world.

A gentle walk takes you to another view point at Mirador Lomo de Las Chozas. There are other more challenging walks available and it is also the start of a path which travels throught the Caldera and down to the sea. This is a very long and challenging route which should only really be attempted by experienced, properly equipped groups of walkers.
