These bright and airy apartments, set around sun terraces featuring a large swimming pool and children's pool, are located at the edge of the small fishing village of La Restinga and offer the only accommodation of this kind on the island of El Hierro.
This small complex of 67 apartments offers a choice of one or two bedroom accommodation.
Most of the apartments have views over the harbour and sea. There are communal terraces with ample sunbeds and sunshades and a large swimming pool with a small children's pool attached.
The sea to the west of La Restinga is protected by cliffs from the prevailing winds and is known as the Mar de Las Calmas (calm sea). It is an acclaimed underwater National Park and is a popular area for SCUBA diving. There are several dive centres in the village that hire equipment and arrange diving. There is a very small beach in the harbour of La Restinga with other small remote beaches along the coastline rocky coves at Cala De Tacaron. The weather here is normally good with sunshine almost every day of the year.
La Restinga has a small selection of bars, fish restaurants and a few shops. It is an ideal location for a get away from it all holiday in a typical fishing village. The pine forests of El Pinar are a short drive away and the area is un-commercialised with few attractions other than SCUBA diving and simply relaxing. A hire car is essential to enjoy this property and other places of interest to visit are the pretty area of Frontera on the west coast, where you may like to visit the sanctuary for rare lizards and the Ecomuseo de Guinea, a reconstruction of the oldest known settlement on the island.

The one bedroom accommodation comprises: Twin bedroom, living room/kitchen with a sofa-bed, TV (no English channels), 2-ring electric hob, electric oven and small fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom has a shower, half-size bath, WC, bidet and wash. Outside, the terrace/balcony is equipped with a table and two chairs. Most of the apartments have views over the harbour and sea. There are communal terraces with ample sunbeds and sunshades and a large swimming pool with a small children's pool attached.
