There is a wealth of history and culture on the doorstep, as Oviedo, the capital of Asturias, with its unique pre-Romanesque monuments is only 55km away. The village is within easy reach of the National Park of the Picos de Europe and the mountains of Covadonga and the coastal towns of Ribadesella and Llanes are also nearby places of interest to visit. The town of Arriondas is just 8km away where there is an array of leisure facilities available including a public swimming pool.
