The accommodation is on one level and the villa is built and furnished in rustic Andalucian style. There is a large south facing covered terrace and sunbathing area which leads to a private swimming pool.
Located on a hillside, 1/2 km from the main road at Costa Aguilera Alta, this private residential area has a quaint atmosphere and occasionally goat-herds will pass by the property.
The urbanisation is conveniently placed for exploring the surrounding areas of historic and cultural interest. The ancient town of Salobrena is only 3km away which, although continuously expanding, still retains the core of the old town, built on the original rocky outcrop with the Moorish castle at its apex. The mountain white villages of the Alpujarra, the vibrant city of Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort of Sol y Nieve are all only 1 hour away by car. The main tourist resort town of Almunecar is only 10km away and the popular international resort of Nerja, in the Province of Malaga, is only a 30-40 minutes' drive.
Villa Concha is ideal family accommodation for a holiday at any time of the year however, due to the convenient location of this villa, in an elevated position high above the popular coast road, some traffic noise may be experienced dependant on the prevailing wind direction, especially in high season.

Location

Salobrena is a dazzling, ancient white town clustered around a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and a fertile valley. It is an attractive holiday & beach resort surrounded by fields of sugar cane and with an interesting Arab castle, located just west of Motril. Sugar cane, mangoes and custard apples are cultivated here. Inland rise the peaks of the Sierra Nevada and water from these mountains is fed around the fields in irrigation channels built by the Moors. Salobrena is a maze of narrow, winding streets that climb up to the old Moorish castle which dominates the town. The climb to the top of the town can be thirsty work but there are numerous little local bars along the way to provide the welcome refreshment of a drink and tapas.
